About Alif Ovens

Alif Ovens was founded in 2005 by Mr. Rizwan Khan in Mumbai, India. Over two decades, the company has grown from a local manufacturer into one of India's most trusted names in industrial bakery equipment, with machinery running across 33+ countries.

Our head office and factory are located at B-213, Kanara Business Center, Laxmi Nagar, Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai, 400 075, Maharashtra, India. Our factory covers approximately 10,000 sq. ft. and is equipped with advanced CNC cutting, bending, lathe, and welding machines.

We export to over 33 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, Jordan, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Pakistan, Angola, Madagascar, Chad, Lesotho, Swaziland, and many more.

Our Equipment

We manufacture six main categories of industrial bakery equipment: (1) Rotary Rack Ovens, for breads, biscuits, rusks, cakes, khari; (2) Travelling Ovens, continuous belt ovens for biscuits, bread, rusk production; (3) Spiral / Planetary Mixers, for dough, batter, and cream preparation; (4) Packaging Machines, cookie, bun, and toast packing; (5) Bread Slicers, gravity-feed slicers for wholesale and retail bakeries; (6) Cookie Dropping Machines, high-speed, servo-controlled forming machines.

All Alif rotary rack oven models support multiple fuel types: Diesel, LPG/Natural Gas, Electric, and Wood-Fired. You can choose the fuel source best suited to your local availability and cost, and certain models can be configured for dual-fuel operation.

Alif rotary rack ovens are engineered for fast heat-up, from room temperature to 225°C in just 20 minutes. This minimises pre-heating time and energy waste, making them highly efficient for commercial and industrial bakery operations.

Rotary rack ovens are versatile. They are ideal for: bread loaves, baguettes, buns, pav; rusks and toast; pastries, cakes, and muffins; biscuits and cookies; khari, aflatoon, and nankhatai. The rotating rack provides even heat distribution and consistent bakes across all trays.

In a direct fired travelling oven, combustion gases pass through the baking chamber, making direct contact with the product. This delivers higher thermal efficiency and is ideal for biscuits and rusks. In an indirect fired oven, combustion gases heat a separate chamber and heat is transferred via radiation, there is no gas contact with the product. Indirect ovens are preferred for bread, delicate products, and where hygiene requirements are higher.

Alif cookie dropping machines are available in 4 to 12 nozzle configurations, covering tray widths from 10" (250mm) to 32" (800mm). Maximum output ranges from 40-50 kg/hour (4-nozzle) up to 340-350 kg/hour (12-nozzle). All models feature servo-controlled motors, a 7" TFT touchscreen, and programmable recipes for precise size, weight, and shape control.

Yes. All Alif rotary rack ovens can be delivered either fully assembled or disassembled so that the unit fits through narrower doorways or stairwells. Our team provides guidance on re-assembly, and installation support is available.

Technical Specifications

Alif rotary rack ovens operate on 3-phase 440V or single-phase 220V power supply. Motor power varies by model, from 2HP + 0.5HP for the compact AO-70 up to 7.5HP + 2HP for the large AO-220. Please confirm your local power supply specifications when ordering.

Alif ovens feature stainless steel baking chambers, SS-lined hoods, stainless steel bowls and spirals on mixers, and imported high-efficiency burners. The factory uses CNC automatic cutting and bending machines to provide precision and consistency across all units.

The largest standard model is the AO-220 (4-trolley, large size) with dimensions 106 x 137 x 87 inches and 7.5HP + 2HP power. It can bake up to 840 bread loaves (400g), 2,520 buns, or 124 kg of biscuits per batch, with 72-80 trays (24" x 32" tray size).
